A perfectionist's eye for detail coupled with an immense natural talent allows Ron to create some absolutely beautiful work. His ability to capture a moment gives depth and beauty to his creations. He started drawing and painting in grade school and returned to art for solace after an accident in 1992. Ron's rodeo background and work as a farrier have given him a first hand feel for his subject's composition, color and detail. He modestly says "More important than talent is hard work and an interest in your subject". Ron lives, paints and enjoys rodeos and ropings in Southern Alberta, Canada.
